The challenge

What needed to change.

TradingSmarter sells MetaTrader 5 indicators. Every sale meant generating and emailing a licence key by hand, and keys inside the files could be shared. They needed instant licence delivery, server-side validation and a full deployment, not just code.

No automation

Every purchase needed manual work to create and send a licence.

No licence validation

Keys embedded in files could be copied and shared.

Full subscription lifecycle

Trials, renewals, upgrades and cancellations all had to update access.

Hosting left undone

Previous developers handed over code without deploying it.

Marketing site

The public site presenting the indicator, pricing tiers and documentation.

Member portal

A Flask portal where traders buy a plan, get their licence key, download files and manage billing.

Licence API

A FastAPI service validates every licence in real time before the indicator runs.

Tiered billing

Plans from Basic to Elite, a free trial, and bank, wallet or crypto payments.

Admin portal

The team manages members, licences and payments without touching code.

VPS deployment

Site, portal and API deployed behind Nginx with Gunicorn, SSL and backups.
